Riot Games has revealed the preview for League of Legends Patch 26.19, scheduled to hit live servers on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. It is the first of two balance passes before Worlds 2026 — the tournament itself will be played on Patch 26.20, due October 7. Ten champions go up, six go down, and Riot is pulling two role-level levers: top lane Teleport and support items. The values below come from the preview shared by Riot Phroxzon and remain provisional until the official patch notes go live.
LoL Patch 26.19 at a glance
Top lane gets map pressure back through a cheaper Teleport cooldown. Melee supports finally get room to breathe against enchanters and ranged supports. And Nasus — a menace in every rank for several patches now — loses 10 base damage on his Q, enough to make his lane phase punishable without gutting his late game.

Lucian: an adjustment, not a nerf
Riot first listed Lucian as a nerf before reclassifying the change as an adjustment. The goal is to break his dependence on Nami and Milio: his Vigilance passive loses most of its damage, while Piercing Light gains up to 30 base damage. Lucian mid and top, currently sitting in the high 30s to low 40s win rate range, should finally become playable in solo queue.
- Vigilance (passive) — on-hit damage: 15 (+20 % AD) ⇒ 5 (+15 % AD)
- Piercing Light (Q) — base damage: 80-220 ⇒ 90-250
System changes: top Teleport and support items
- Teleport (Top Role Quest) — cooldown: 420 ⇒ 390 s
- Upgraded Teleport — an additional 30 s cooldown reduction
- World Atlas / Runic Compass — Health: 30/100/200 ⇒ 0/60/150
- World Atlas / Runic Compass — Health regeneration: 25/50/75 % ⇒ 50/75/75 %
Riot's reasoning is straightforward: top lane is strong below Emerald but falls off hard in high-elo Western regions, and Teleport is exactly the tool skilled top laners squeeze the most value out of. On the support side, power moves from flat health into regeneration, which helps melee supports survive enchanter poke while making ranged supports easier to kill when they get caught out.

Winners and losers of LoL Patch 26.19
- Big winners: Aatrox and Fiora, who stack their direct buffs on top of a stronger split-push Teleport.
- Quiet winners: Kha'Zix and Elise, whose clear and burst buffs land exactly as jungle swings back toward a tempo role.
- One to watch: Aphelios, touched on all five weapons — the buff looks enormous on paper, but only players who genuinely manage their Chakrams will cash it in.
- Big losers: Nocturne, whose ultimate jumps to 160 s at rank one, and Nasus, who loses his comfortable early game.
- Neutral: Ryze and Lucian, both designed to be roughly power-neutral.
What this means for your ranked games
In practice: if you play top, track your Teleport timer. Thirty seconds off means one or two extra rotations per game, and split-push plays that simply did not land before. If you play support, engage picks like Leona, Rell and Nautilus become a serious answer to enchanters again. And in the jungle, Kha'Zix and Elise deserve a slot in your pool before the season closes.
Patch 26.20 lands two weeks later with the real competitive tuning, so locking in your division now — while the meta is still readable — is the smart play. If you are short on time or hard-stuck at a rank floor, ElevateBoost's League of Legends boosting and coaching gets you through the wall without burning your evenings. Our coaches are already on the 26.19 buffed picks, so this is the ideal moment to place an order and finish the season at the rank you are aiming for.
