The 54th hero: what the leaks actually say
NetEase confirmed the 54th playable character but held back the name. On the datamine side, two names keep coming up in leak roundups: Gorr and Nightcrawler. Neither is official — the leakers themselves note the information is subject to change.
Gorr the God Butcher (rumored Vanguard)
- Rumored role: Vanguard, which would make him the second major playable villain after Ultron.
- Signature weapon: the All-Black Necrosword, likely the core of his kit.
- No abilities have been officially revealed — everything circulating is prediction, not spec.
Nightcrawler (rumored Duelist)
- Rumored role: Duelist, with short-range teleportation as the signature mechanic.
- His game files have leaked before, which makes the rumor credible without validating it.
- A mobile Duelist like this would hit the current anti-dive meta directly.
The official schedule up to Season 10

Console: PS5, Xbox and crossplay before Season 10
Marvel Rivals is free-to-play on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and crossplay puts everyone in the same pool, so a huge share of the ladder is on controller. Two settings are worth revisiting before a season flip: your aim curve (linear or dual-zone depending on your style) and aim assist strength, which is often worth dialling down slightly if you keep snapping to the wrong target in close quarters. Per-hero sensitivity profiles also let you run a lower value on hitscan Duelists than on melee Vanguards.
