Overwatch 2 Season 3 meta: who actually carries?
Season 3 Into the Tiger's Den shook things up on June 16. If you want to save time in ranked, play what works right now. We looked at the most picked heroes and the highest win rates. Want a quick boost on your account? Check our services at ElevateBoost.
The DPS that hit hardest

On damage, three names keep showing up. Torbjorn sits on top with a win rate around 55.7%, ahead of Symmetra (54.1%), per the Counterwatch tier list updated June 25. Not the flashiest picks, but their turrets and beams punish messy comps.
- Torbjorn: monster zone control, perfect to hold a point and farm value.
- Symmetra: teleporter plus a scaling beam, huge on closed maps.
- Shion: the new dive DPS, built to crash backlines.
Shion, the rookie that bites
Added with Season 3, Shion is a dive DPS with dual pistols, a dash and a motorcycle engage. In the right hands she shreds enemy supports and escapes before dying. The pool is still learning her, so mastering her early is free LP. Careful though: miss your dash timing and you just feed.
The must-pick supports
On healing, the meta stays clean and readable. These five are everywhere, including in pro play:
- Lucio: mobility and speed boost that keep dives alive.
- Juno: burst heal plus a game-changing ult.
- Ana: anti-heal and sleep, rewards the skill ceiling.
- Kiriko: suzu saves and TP repositions.
- Wuyang: safe value to hold the line.
Tanks and safe picks
On tank, play what synergizes with your team rather than the absolute best. With the new lobby ban slot added this season, expect oppressive tanks to vanish from games. Keep two or three tanks in your pocket to adapt.
How to climb with these heroes
No need to spam all 30 heroes. Pick one DPS from the list, a reliable support like Lucio or Ana, and a comfort tank. Learn matchups instead of chasing quantity. And if you want out of elo hell fast, our team can handle it at ElevateBoost.
